Current Favorite Music Genres Are In The EDM Spectrum

I love some good vocal trance music!

Daily writing prompt
What is your favorite genre of music?

I have a very broad spectrum of music genres that I enjoy. I’ve been listening to music since my teen years in the 1980’s. My interests in music range primarily in country, pop, rock, edm, trance, dance, and chill genres. In the past few years since around 2015 I have turned more to trance and dance style music because country and pop music just isn’t what it used to be. I find that trance and dance music can provide journeys in sounds you can’t find in other types of music. I love remixes, and remixes can cover almost any type of music. It’s amazing that this question has come up in the daily writing prompt at this time like it has because I recently started a new music journey blog called D.I. TRAX. It is a very fast-pace blog getting up to 100 or more posts per day to log each song I listen to on DI.FM. Check out the blog and give it a follow for music recommendations in the trance, dance, edm, and chill music genres. D.I. TRAX is a new tool in my content curation routine. In time I will be bringing music suggestion lists from that blog over here to Blipseekr.

Instagram Twitter Competitor Threads Is Here

Threads is the new place to get your social on:

Instagram’s highly-anticipated Twitter competitor is now available, and it’s called ‘Threads’. Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, he made a number of controversial moves, which pushed users to consider alternatives.

Details:

  • Threads is one of the latest competitors to Twitter.
  • It is from Instagram, which could give it an advantage over Twitter, due to the number of users Instagram has.
  • If you have an Instagram account, getting to Threads is immensely simple. On top of that, you can also immediately follow all the people you follow on Instagram, with a touch of a button. Even if they’re still not on ‘Threads’, the service will remember you want to follow them.
  • Threads allows you to create text-based posts with up to 500 characters. This could be seen as an advantage over Twitter by some who want more character limits. Twitter still only allows 280 characters, unless you subscribe to Twitter Blue.
  • You get two feeds on Threads: Recommended posts, and posts from people you follow. It’s the same deal that you get on Twitter, except that Twitter has been adding other tabs since Elon Musk took it over.

Two Surgeries And Some Treatments

Nothing major!

Daily writing prompt
Have you ever had surgery? What for?

I’ve had a couple of surgeries when I was younger for tonsil removal and ear issues. Throughout my adult life I’ve dealt with kidney stones, and required some treatment for that. Other than that, I can say that I’m fortunate to enjoy great health.

My Daily Habits Are a Great Combination Of Busy Busy Busy

Busy is my middle name!

Daily writing prompt
What are your daily habits?

My daily habits mostly are wake up, look at the phone, look at the computer, find something to blog about, create lists to post, and repeat. When I’m not doing that, I’m trying to keep a clean home, and focusing on living a happy and stress free life as much as possible. In 2023 and since 2020 it really is as simple as that. I’m not trying to brag, but I’ve got it made as far as my lifestyle and work style is concerned which I won’t elaborate on. My habits could turn into something fierce due to the freedoms I have, or stay calm as they are, and I prefer the calm. I enjoy the work in writing that I do on my blog, and I really have no desire to create other habits that would require leaving the comfort of my home and home office, or changing my work space. I always have food in the kitchen so that I can stay put at home, a great day (night) job that allows me the freedom to spend my time on my laptop around the clock working on my projects, and while I have it that way, I’m going to stick to it. Ok maybe I bragged a little bit.
